We're excited to announce that Lote Tuqiri is one of the huge line up of community ambassadors we have supporting our ACTIVATE school program! Lote Tuqiri is a former professional dual-code rugby player who represented Australia in both rugby league and rugby union, and Fiji in rugby league. In this video, Lote talks about why he wanted to be involved with the ACTIVATE program and what makes him so passionate about giving back to the community.

After two days of working with schools in Brisbane, we set off early this morning to continue our journey. Our ACTIVATE program is specifically designed to help students achieve their potential, and it was a privilege to be able to deliver it to students in the local community. We are passionate about supporting students in reaching their academic and personal goals, and it was wonderful to see the positive impact our program will have on the students we worked with.

We recently had the pleasure of being a part of and sponsoring the TML Smash Masters Badminton Tournament on the 25th of May at Point Cook in Victoria! The event had 168 participants competing for the Smash Masters trophy Thanks to The Mumbai Locals for involving us and Amandalouphotography for the great pictures!

Gayle Broughton is another of the fantastic community ambassadors we have supporting our ACTIVATE program! Gayle Broughton is a former New Zealand rugby union sevens player. She began playing rugby league in Australia in 2022 and has won Olympic Games gold and silver medals. Justin Hodges is our General Manager of Wellbeing & Community for our ACTIVATE program. Justin Hodges is an Australian professional boxer and former rugby league player. Justin played rugby in the 2000s and 2010s for the Brisbane Broncos before moving onto the Sydney Roosters.
